I don't know about you but I've seen my share of travel photos. Seeing the same famous places over and over again - even with a different face next to it - and pretending to be interested became a very boring task. That's when I came up with a crazy idea of turning this kind of photos from another angle - the shoe. I will be posting my shoe travel photos on this site. I would surely appreciate if you could contribute as well!

A new town, that was carefully planned from its inception and is constructed in a previously undeveloped area. The style is inspired by pre-industrial town architecture found in the coastal region of the southern Baltic and the North Sea between Flanders and Tallinn, of which perhaps the old Hansa city of Lübeck is the best known example.

It was designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and officially opened on 27 August 2005. The tower reaches a height of 190 metres with 54 stories. Upon completion, it was the tallest building in Scandinavia, and Europe's second highest apartment building.
